Art that comes from the heart

Through my artwork, I hope to empower others to fight for themselves, to feel less alone in their struggles, and to help install a small, yet powerful, light of hope.

I want to prompt viewers to think about art as a way to heal after a traumatic experience, to realize that, though it might seem bleak, things can get better. Our experiences can influence who we are. At times, those experiences can affect us quite negatively; however, we can choose a more positive path. During the healing journey, a person’s view of the world may become disordered, but one can successfully reorder their life. Selena Gomez once stated, “If you are broken, you do not have to stay broken” At times, this life may test our limits, and when we think we are done for, but we can use that experience to show ourselves what we are made of and be stronger than ever.
